Bombolini is such a random name right ? Anyway, my close friends call me Bombo – a name that followed from days of being super chubby. Recently, I found out there is actually an Italian dessert named ‘Bombolini’ (commonly written as Bombolone) which is basically a stuffed doughnut and I thought it was only fitting. I am an absolute lover of all things pastry (especially doughnuts). Beignets being on the list which is very similar to what is called puff puff in Nigeria (my first love), loukamades in Turkey, kala in Liberia, etc. So yeah, Bombolini – my love of all things doughy and my nickname.
I’ve been wanting to blog for forever. I started at a point and kinda stopped (I’m lazy and I procrastinate – a lot). Somehow, I’m back to it this time and feel like I may be able to keep up with it.
Every time I have said ‘I write’ and have been asked to share, I never felt comfortable sharing. Well here it is anyway. I don’t plan on making my blog about anything in particular, just about a Bombloni’s thoughts, activities and anything else I feel the need to write about.
